Why are some men opposed to family planning services when the benefits are great?

Not many men go to family planning centers to seek advice. Research proves that engaging men in family planning has been found to influence the partner’s reproductive health decision making and behaviors. Again, evidence indicates that most men have a positive attitude toward family planning, but obstacles to their participation are not well understood. Some researchers believe it is attributed to some misconceptions that are not really true about the effects they might have heard. We ask, why are some men opposed to family planning services when the benefits are great?
There are two key benefits to the man as they are involved in family planning. One is the health of the woman (wife) and secondly, the economic aspect. Men who accept Family Planning saves money, improves the relationship and have peace of mind.
Men have a responsibility in keeping their family healthy and happy by practicing family planning.
